I have a beige carpet in my living room and carpet in one bedroom and some laminate floor. The carpet is warmer but it’s harder to keep it clean if I drop something on it and it gets stained. I like to use a good quality stain remover and this is why I buy 1001 Trouble Shooter Ultra because it works very well I find.

The last time I used it I had spilled my cup of tea which I had knocked off the little side table with my arm and it went all over the carpet. I had used the 1001 before though for tea and coffee stains so I knew it would work well because it did last time.
I pay £3.20 for 500ml and it’s in a trigger spray bottle and this seems like a lot of money but I don’t use it too often so it lasts a long time. I like this because it has got a built in fabric conditioner and it neutralizes odours and it cleans as well, so it does a lot of things.

I blotted up the major part of the tea with some sheets of kitchen paper and stood on it till it soaked in then I sprayed the 1001 on top of the stain. It foams a little bit when you first spray this on and then I gently worked it into the carpet fibres. I then blotted it dry with some clean water and waited for it to dry off and then I vacuumed it with my Hoover.

It’s really best to make sure tough that the area has dried off properly first and then I like to fluff it up with my hands and fingers after I have vacuumed it twice and then the carpet looked like it had never had tea spilled on it. When I spilled the tea it was dark and I could only see the carpet by artificial light but the next day when the sun came through the windows I could see there was no stain at all.

This is very good at removing other stains and I have spilled Ribena and a hot chicken curry and they both came up lovely as well. This is a very good quality cleaner and I recommend it to you.
