A second chance for old friendships!

I'd read a couple of books by Jane Green which I had hugely enjoyed so I was really looking forward to reading Second Chance and I was not disappointed! It was a hugely enjoyable read from the very first page based on a group of characters that it was really easy to get to know! The story centres on a group of people who were all friends while they were growing up but have since lost touch. The sudden and tragic death of one of them throws them all back together again at his memorial service and gives them a 'second chance' to renew their friendships. What they discover is, that even though they have not seen each other for years, the thing that makes them friends in the first place is the same thing that draws them back together again! Everyone deserves a second chance

Advantages: Easy to read and enjoyable 'beach' book
Disadvantages: None

I have always been a fan of Jane Green's books and have not found one that I didn't like. I try and get hold of a copy of any of her new books as soon as they are published in paperbacks as I can't stand the hardbacks! After waiting a little while longer due to lack of funds I finally got hold of 'Second Chance' and then after waiting again to find time to sit down and read I managed to finally finish the book a couple of days ago and so thought I would share my thoughts on this book. The author: Jane Green has written quite a few books now and they are all the 'chick lit/romance' type of books. She originally wrote for the Daily Express newspaper and became a writer when she wrote her first book 'Straight Talking' which ended up being a huge success. 60 Seconds in Silver Bullet

Advantages: makes nails look shiney, dries quickly, pretty colour
Disadvantages: needs two coats

I bought Rimmel London 60 Seconds 730 Silver Bullet nail varnish from Boots for around £3.99 which is I'd say is slightly over priced for a nail varnish but it seemed very good as it claimed it took "one coat" and it was "quick & easy to apply". The biggest claim was that it took "under 60 seconds to dry". I used to bite my nails and I was finally letting them grow so I needed a nice light yet funky colour to make my nails look nice so I would hopefully stop biting them. The nail varnish is very small with a black lid and a glass base showing the colour of the nail varnish. There's a sticker on the front that tells you the colour, number and name of the company. The smell of the varnish is very over powering like most nail varnishes, I don't mind the smell but some people find it sickening and that it gives them a headache. The brush ...
