101cd.com stocks an absolutely huge range of CDs. Of course it has all the contemporary stuff that other sites have, but it also has a very comprehensive back catalogue covering every genre.

...stock checker site and when 101cd flashed up on the screen as havin g stock i quickly clicked on it and bought it straight away... only after i'd done this it occured to me that i should probably of read some reviews about this site first as i hadn't heard of it before. when looking at other reviews i started to worry as alot of them are bad! saying that i couldn't see any recent ones so i hoped this company had sorted themselves out, and decided ... ...order status changed to shipped and i had an email confirming it and saying it would be sent royal mail 1st class. after 3days it hadn't arrived and i was starting to worry but then on the fourth day the postman came...but still no parcel ? i went to work feeling disappointed and a bit silly for not reading the reviews on this site before hand!
when i arrived homre from work that evening it had arrived!?... not by royal mail 1st class as stated ...

Quick review of 101CD
VERY poor service! I ordered a dvd which was stated as having a 3 to 5 day delivery. No order confirmation whatsoever was sent to me and I had to keep checking back on their web site daily for two weeks whilst the order was "processing". The final straw was tonight - my order has mysteriously disappeared from their system with no explanation, no email and no apology. I truly wish I'd ordered elsewhere and saved my time and wasted effort. In future I'll stick to Amazon who thankfully give decent service unlike this crowd of idiots. Avoid them - they dont deserve your business! ...

I ordered a DVD for christmas - I called the help line and was told the item would be with me within a few days - payment went through immdiately.
Waitied three weeks, sent three e-mails (all unanswered) - phoned and spoke to lad, not much help but gave estimated time frame at least. Called again and again - only answer phone, left message no replies. Finally got through to be told but a girl this time (so proves they have more than one staff member ... ...order from US (couldnt keep much stock in) couldnt give me an expected time frame and her attitude was extremely slack to say the least (I could almost feel her eyes rolling as she spoke to me) Unfortunately the tone in her voice told me straight away that she really wasn't interested in my dissapointment or in resolving my issue.
I requested cancellation and refund - that was actioned quickly. At least they can get the money returned quickly - ...

I pre-ordered the Oasis Ltd Edition Stop the Clocks CD on 6/11/06, so well before the release date of 20th November. It's now 27th November and no sign of the CD - I emailed them a couple days after release when it didn't arrive and they didn't bother to email to say there had been a problem and got a very curt email back which basically said hard luck, our suppliers didn't send enough copies and we'll send you one eventually but we can't say when. ... ...or very limited at all. The service is poor, you cannot respond to their emails and they do not update you by email to even tell you there has been a delay or what is happening ! I have just telephoned them and after waiting about 15 minutes because the lines were supposedly busy, I spoke to an android customer service person who wasn't really that interested . . . I cancelled the order and will now buy it in the shops - it's just not worth the hassle ...

Advantages: Sadly none at all Disadvantages: Customer support does not extend beyond insults to buyer.
...She would not allow me to speak to the buying dep't and refused to transfer my call to anyone who might be willing to assist.
In short, they have taken my money and refuse to deliver the goods. I would recommend in the strongest terms possible that 101CD is avoided. ...
