Advantages: a whole new accessible approach to philiosophy Disadvantages: not a very serious philosophy book
I saw this book when I went to my local bookstore to have a browse in the philosophy section. I had been interested in the subject for a while and had been mostly interested in the more traditional approaches to philosophy, for example written by Marcus Aurelius. However, this book caught my eye with its bright muticoloured cover adorned with pictures of a telephone, a glass of water and an apple being peeled.
I had never read anything by the author ... ...bit of research and i found out that the author Roger-Pol Droit is a contemporary French philosopher who likes to encourage the reader to take part in the outlined tasks whcih are similar to some sort of mental gymnastics which allow your mind to think in ways you have never previously have done so.
