    Advantages Advantages Plays different tunes to most other stations

    Disadvantages Disadvantages They're all 80's/90's pop.

    I'm all for a variety of music and Wish does play that, if favouring 80's to early 90's cheese a little. It doesn't play too much of the recent trendy in one ear and out the other "choons" that can be playing and you don't know it, but on the other hand, the songs it plays are all of a very similar nature, and that's affecting my feelings about the station. Those feelings are: cheesy. Personally I prefer rock to pop and dance, and Wish siply plays 80s pop music, 24/7. It's one of the only stations in the area that doesn't play anally retentive DJs live from clubs every friday, and I respect it ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good Varity aswell as sport

    Wish fm is alocal radio station based in Orrel in between Wigan and St.helens it plays a variety of music with little talk and there is lots of choice to suite every listener. The Andrew Golding show which i believe is a breakfast time and Chris Best,s shows are very good. The station has been broardcasting for about 5 yrs and has improved year by yaer. Saturday nights are good where they play a nice mix of new and claaic dance tunes it gats you in the mood for going out. They also cover sporting events in the local area includein Wigan Athletic football and St.Helens and Wigan rugby leauge ... more
