Hello everyone, well, lots of things make me happy so I'm going to try and name my top ten

ONE
I guess number one would have to be my Mum and Dad, Rose and Michael. They are my absolute heroes and I hope that I make them proud. I had the happiest childhood I could have wished for and will always have special memories of it. My Mum and Dad are just the greatest parents; they have always stood by me no matter how much hard work I have been. They have taught me what is right from wrong but have also let me have my own mistakes and let me learn that way. They have always welcomed my friends and boyfriends whether they have agreed with my choice or not that have always been welcoming. They help me with everything and I would be lost without them.

TWO
Number two would have to be my brother, Darryl. He was born 2 and a half years before me so that makes him my older brother. When we were younger, around 4-5 we always used to play with out toys together and play dress up. We went through a few years of not liking each other that much, we always seemed to argue and Mum and Dad would be forever telling us off. Then I reached 13 and my brother was 15 and we suddenly started getting along again and are still the best of mates now. A couple of years ago we were always out every weekend with our shared group of friends and before I got my own house, I literally lived at his house. People always comment that we get on really well and I love the fact that we do.

THREE
Number three is going to be my animals. I am totally obsessed with animals and would keep one of everything if I had the room. At present I have 2 Border Collies, Dax and Marley who are my babies. I also have a Bearded Dragon, 4 leopard geckos, a hamster, three budgies and a big fish tank. I love the fact that all my animals are different even down to the two dogs. They have such different personalities and are great to play with and to have a cuddle with. They also give me plenty of exercise, as they always want to go out for walkies! My geckos are more of an animal to watch although I can handle them all with no problems. It's fascinating to watch them eat, and go about their own little routines. My Bearded Dragon comes out for a run and he also has to be bathed three times a week which I enjoy doing (nearly as much as he does). My fish give me great pleasure, watching all of them interact and getting excited when it's feeding time. I love my hamster to bits but unfortunately he doesn't like me and he bights, although I still get enjoyment out of watching him eat his treats and playing in his tunnels. My budgies are lovely to listen to, they sometimes drown out the sound of the TV with all their singing. It fascinates me to watch them groom one another, and using all their toys. I also get great enjoyment out of letting them out of their cage, I don't really like the fact that they are kept in cages and try to give them as much freedom as possible. So number three is definitely my animals, I could go on and on about why they make me happy but I don't want to bore anyone.

FOUR
Number four is my boyfriend Jamie. We have been together 7 months and get on really well. He shares my passion for animals and we are very alike. He was married when I first met him but shortly after he left this wife and we ended up getting together. He has a child from his marriage, a little boy called James who is six. I wasn't sure how I felt about him having a child to start with but it's growing on me more and more. Jamie is 10 years older then me but you would never know it to look at us together. I like the fact that he is more mature than most guys my age and he is happy to enjoy the nicer things in life, like walking the dogs on a nice countryside walk or just sitting in and watching a film together, rather than him feeling he needs to go out and get drunk all the time like most of the lads my age do! He is probably the most considerate man I have ever met (aside from my Dad of course). He is always doing the nicest things for me, little things like getting up for work at the same time as me (when he doesn't have to be up for another 3 hours) just so he can run me a bath and make me a cup of tea! For my birthday he bought me a Balloon Flight and a gorgeous ring, he really does spoil me. I can be moody and I don't like talking about how I feel and he always says the right things to make me feel better when I am down. He has a beautiful smile that would light up anyone's day.

FIVE
Number five is going to be nice food and drink. As I have gotten older, I realise that I appreciate food more and more. I love trying new things. Going out for a meal with my friends and family is something I really like to do. You get the company of your favourite people and can sit and eat delicious food together. I enjoy my food all the time but another time when I especially enjoy it is when you have got a good DVD and you can sit cuddled up on the sofa (normally with your boyfriend or girlfriends) and much popcorn, ice cream and cream cakes! Yummy, this makes me very happy.

SIX
Number six in my list is going to be music. I love the fact that songs remind you of things…like the song Aerosmith - I Don't Want To Miss A Thing was played at my friend's funeral and now whenever I hear that song it makes me sad inside but will always and forever remind me of my friend. There are songs that remind me of my childhood and growing up, songs that remind me of ex boyfriends, songs that remind me of fantastic nights out that I have had. Music is such a bit part of my life and I love singing along (even if I am a little out of tune!) I love old songs and new songs and find it fascinating how music has changed over the years.

SEVEN
Seven will be travelling! I am totally hooked on it, I would like to visit the world. I love going to another country and not knowing to expect. I love the fact that you can jump on a plane and a few hours later you can arrive in a totally different country. I enjoy taking in all the different cultures and trying all the new foods. I love visiting all local towns and seeing how the local people live in different countries. I also enjoy visiting local markets and buying handmade goods.
Another reason I enjoy travelling is because of all the beautiful sights you can see, not just in foreign countries but even locally. You can see some amazing waterfalls, and beautiful landscapes. The wildlife in other countries is breathtaking and is one of the main reasons I like to go travelling.

EIGHT
Walking makes me happy. Its great exercise, 9 times out of 10 I have my dogs with me and I am walking in the countryside with some lovely views. I enjoy walking in new areas and exploring, taking paths that look like they haven't been used in a while and seeing where it leads me. I prefer walking on a day when it is warm but not too hot, spring is probably my favourite time of year to go walking. Even walking in the rain makes me happy!

NINE
Number Nine has to be my closes mates. They are always there to give me a hand, give me advice and pick up the pieces when things go wrong.

I always manage to have a laugh with them and it makes me smile when I think how we have grown up together. I love all my mates and I'm proud to have them in my life. We enjoy going out drinking, and we have some really wild parties.
Whenever I need to talk to someone about anything that's on my mind, I can always count on my mates to be there to listen and help me through anything.

TEN
Number ten is going to be my book collection. I love reading and get totally absorbed in my books. Crime, Thriller and Horror are my favourite categories.
Reading can be educational as well as being fun. I enjoy reading at work, when I'm in the bath and especially when I am on holiday
