1. "You're on my heart just like a tattoo"- I like this line as it shows how much Jordin Sparks likes this person, also I like this line because well the whole song speaks to me. It seems as though the words that I have thought through my head once or twice before have been noted down into the form of notes and words sung.
2. "You know I'd walk a thousand miles if I could just see you.... tonight"- Yes I know one of them "girl things" but I like the way Vanessa Carlson has put across that she would do anything to see her man. Also that she doesn't care what she has to do to go to see him it shows that her love is powerful for this man as she doesn't care what she has to do to see her man.
3. "Power in the money, money in the power"-Coolio knew what he was talking about. Everyone knows that money is power as people who have a lot (no disrespect meant) of money think that they are above people. Also people with money mostly have a lot of power being manager or owner.
4. "In our family portrait we look pretty happy, we look pretty normal. Let's go back to that"- Pinks song Family portrait describes my family at the moment except it wasn't my dad walking out it was my mum. I like winding my mum up by singing it in front of her, I have always liked this song, but now I understand it more than what I did. She basically just wants her mum and dad to sit down, talk things through and get back to being a normal family.
5. "So much for my happy ending"- This song is... well... it's the way the world is, nobody gets there way and nothing has a happy ending (unless you live in a fairytale). If you think of it as you go to the shops for your groceries you never get everything you need then you have to go back for it. Or something you want to last forever never does.
6. "Live your life, Instead of chasing that paper"- Exactly what it says, live your life to the full, stop chasing money its not as if one day it will need you. Life has an ending point money doesn't, Money will keep going even when you don't. So do what you want, yes money may pay a part of this but at the end of the day you only spend it once (as I keep getting told) so you will spend money on something you have always wanted to do. Like my dad, he wanted to open a tattoo shop, he's done it and all the money that was put in doesn't matter because now he is living his life to do as he pleases. 7. "Don't try and analyse these rhyme's, I say F*** 93 times"- Sorry if this offends you but I love this song. Most people try and find the meaning of songs as I have done myself. The song in itself is a giggle. The song is by slipknot and they are quite a scream band but, this song is just basically telling you not to care about what anyone thinks about you, you are yourself and no one can judge. The song in itself is quite mellow for slipknot and if you can find the song you'll love it.
8. "Thanks for making me, a fighter"- Your downfalls only make you stronger. Everything in this world that you get knocked back form doing, getting or having just make you want it more so you come back more of a fighter than what you were. If there is ever something you want but you can't have you don't sit back and think "oh well it'll be fine, something else will come up" you think no I want it so I'll fight for it.
9. "Together we made it, we made it even though we've got our backs up against the wall"- This song is similar to the one above but it has a different meaning like the one above is making you stronger but this song shows that if you put your mind to it you can do anything.
10. "Don't worry... be happy"- This song always makes me smile I think it is because of the way its set out or maybe the words. Just that one line out of the song makes me smile. Plus it reminds me of my friend singing it when he was walking along the road to home with me. Its songs like that that will always stay in my head because of friends.

Wow, I agree with most of your fave song lyrics, I love family portrait one, really speaks to a lot of people in this day and age, also the Christina one. One little hint, spread out your review, put the name of the artist that sung it and the name of the song as I found myself searching for the artist name. Lol. Brill review. Kirsty.
