What an experience I had with 123-reg. I wanted to market my music online, but using FTP was impossible. The simple site builder was not good enough for me. I tried to upload my site until I was blue in the face. I eventually gave up sent an email to their support system. A response ticket followed and guess what two days after the 30 day deadline for canceling the account and getting a refund. What was worse was the fact that I rang them on the ...

I went to 123-reg to build a website with my domain name aranspencer.com. Then I set up a new site called spencerkawadri.com and spencerkawadri.co.uk. I rang them up a few weeks later asking them to have it taken off my account, with instant site plus and pro. So the 2 domain names weren't on my account anymore. They were gone! I have tried 123-reg eCommerce free trial, and Instant site. What the previous reviewer said about Instant site is spot on. As for the eCommerce trial, I was at first impressed. The Interface you use to design your site is promising and easy to use. However, there's a big gap between set-up and completion. The Help system is poor, and needs more localised Help. They also need to add more Wizards to guide you. They should create live demos showing the essential tasks required. I've since joined Volution and there product and support is really good!
