After coming out of my local travel agent. I booked and paid in advance 2 weeks to the Red sea and a later trip during the year to North America. Having spent my max. limit on the credit card I decide it was a MUST to purchase travel insurance, and hopefully not have to spend even more money but still have an adequate insurance cover.
The easiest way was to look online. Here I came across www.1cover.co.uk who gave me an instant quote within seconds, and the price was pretty competitive with low excesses and high level of cover. You could save the quote and come back later to purchase the policy but I went ahead straight away to buy. I got an instant confirmation email and SMS text to my mobile within minutes containing my policy number and 24 hour emergency contact details. There was a customer service telephone number if you wish to purchase over the telephone for those who are still not happy to buy online. The service was brilliant and hopefully I won't need to make a claim.
