I Work for a company called 1st Quoteline now this is a differant company from 1st quote. like our company they are brokers not a direct insurance company
We get calls on a daily basis from clients who think they have insured their car/house ect with us (because clients get the names confused)only to find out they have not and now they are even more confused on who they paid their money to.
These clients 99% of the time are wanting to know where their documents are and why they have not recieved them as they dont have proof of their insurance yet.
All i want to say is be very carefull you have the correct company and you know who your insured with because 1st Quote dont seem to rush documents out to you
If you need your cover note asap i would insure else where

Hi and welcome to Ciao. Sorry to only be able to rate FH. Although it's interesting to note that similar company names your experience of customer comments doesn't necessarily indicate a major probem with 1st Quote. Those customers to whom you spoke were those who hadn't received documents (since those who had would also have known the correct telephone humber), therefore the sample was preselected to have had poor service.
