This is the worst insurance I have ever dealt with. I cancelled my policy with them over a year ago and had no contact from them at all until recently. They claimed that despite me cancelling my policy they insured me an extra month and wanted £205 for that service. I said that I didn't want that extra month insurance. They said that they would waive the month if I could prove to them that I was insured with another company for that period as it's against the law no to be insured on the road. Despite it being none of their business if I'm insured or not they insisted that i had to prove this to them. When using that as a lever to try and get some more money out of me failed they simply passed their demand on to a credit agency for recovery.
In my opinion they were simply chasing old accounts to try and get a bit more money when the credit crunch is hitting them. They had lied to me, denied receiving cancellation letter and in my opinion have been totally ruthless.
