This is a tale of a serial killer that try's to come up with the worse possible murders he can think of. He decides that newlyweds are going to be his target and arranges to commit the murders on their wedding night. He carries out his macabre plot with chilling ease and the police seem unable to stop him.
Homicide inspector Lindsay Boxer is determined to crack the case. She goes against regulations by enlisting the help of her friends. Cindy, a journalist, Jill, an attorney and Claire, a coroner. Using their combined expertise they begin to piece together a profile of the killer and search for links between the victims and crime scenes. Not an easy task as the crime scenes are wide ranging involving other police forces who want the glory of solving the crimes for themselves.
The plot has many twists to the tale and keeps you guessing right to the end. I don't want to give too much away because it's definitely a book you should read without knowing too much about where it's going. Trust me you'll be hooked within the first chapter as this isn't a book that messes about setting the scene. It drags you right in and won't let you go.
