    The events of 2061 portray the first landing on Europa after it was declared off limits by the monolith after the events of 2010. A ship crash lands on the ice moon and another has to rescue it leading to contact being made with the monolith once again. Overall this is one of Arthur C Clarkes weaker books, what should be a story which expands on the overall story arc feels more like an individual episode. It is still well written and has its moments of excitment but I feel that he should have concentrated more on the monolith mythos that he began crafting so well in the first two books (2001 ... more
