...Picture the scene. My friends and I (note the good English!) have just finished our A-levels, and have about 3 months free to have some fun. Generic Network interface cards (NICs) seem to have taken over recently however I always have a soft spot for 3com's card the 10/100 3c905 range was the among the most stable fast range of PCI interface cards ever I thought I would try out the new breed of card. I bought my card "new" from ebay for £10 plus delivery, generic 1000mb card can be bought for around this price new from most PC resellers.
