Advantages: Works - perfectly. Disadvantages: Perhaps a tad expensive for the home user to fork out on
...When I decided to upgrade my home network, I knew exactly which NIC was going to choose for my machines. The 3com3C905-TX is /the/ network card to use to ensure a quick and reliable network. Obviously the network is only as good as the cabling and the hub connecting it together. But as far as network cards go - this one is the dogs b*llocks.

But then you get some pieces of hardware, like the 3com Superstack II hub, that you don't even remember exists. It just sits in the corner of my office, doing its job, and just doesn't stop. That is why I'm writing this opinion. This hub deserves recognition for its reliability - as it's a fine piece of kit.
The 3com SuperStack II Dual-speed hub 500...
