Advantages: 'Free' if you buy the DSL G604T :-) Disadvantages: Becomes very hot, relatively large for a USB dongle
...I bought the DSL G604T router/ADSL modem/firewall/WLAN hub in mid 2005 (see my review of it in Ciao) and the DWL G122 came as part of the kit. Given that the kit cost me £58 and the DWL retails at ~£25 separately I consider that a very good deal :-> .
I won't include the specifications here as that would be to just duplicate what is already listed in the Ciao product overview (I've checked it).
What you get in the box:

2. An extension lead with a 'base station' into which you can plug the dongle

The dongle is larger than you may expect, so may not comfortably sit in some USB ports if space is limited ( I could not but help compare it with my Bluetooth dongle, which you will find I've also reviewed in Ciao). I ordered these speakers, along with a equally well priced Sound Card to replace my dodgy grey speakers, and I can say they've been nothing but pure pleasure!

This kit is superb value for money, and really gives a realistic cinema experiance, especially with 5.1 enabled films and games. The bass is extremely powerful, even from a woofer not much bigger than a bread box and the compact speakers really can go anyware, either sitting or mounted on a wall with brackets or screws (Special speaker stands can also be purchased for this product).

# The toll-free (US and Canada) Help line is actually USEFUL! I only had to wait about 4 minutes and my question about putting tha battery into the remote was answered.

# Wires to speakers at 6.5 feet are almost short for putting the centre-bass unit on the floor and connecting to the left...
