Advantages: Easy and saves you PCI slots Disadvantages: Expensive
...Hello.. this is my first opinion on uk.ciao.com ... now this is one of the most usefull grey boxes on that scale i have ever seen ! Because of the sililarites between LAN and ISDN connections they can both use the same wire, RJ45, and so £com created a card which would not only serv as your ocnnection to the internet via and ISDN line... But AT THE SAME TIME communicate with the other computers on the network. Advantages: 3COM build, good drivers, fast Disadvantages: Cost

Advantages: External, BT made Disadvantages: Price, support
...I got my BT Ignition ISDNTerminal Second hand in October. I bought it as I had just got BT Home Highway. I chose a BT adapter as I trust BT products. Since then I have found it reasonable. Great because it uses no system memory and you can see if the contection is flowing (as it's external). I am not happy with the level of technical support. Firstly the line is a 0990 number (premium rate), secondly they aren't open during weekends and thridly as I have never been able to dual bond my ISDN lines....
