Hiya sorry about the boredom about these floppy disks first the imation 3 1/2" floppu disks and now its those pesky 3M's. Right i am sorry to say that my other batch of imation floppy disks have run out. So i phoned my supplier and i was informed by the lovely lady called charlie that they had run out. So she did suggest i try the new 3M pack of 10 floppies. Right onto the product in hand: These are the worst floppy disks i have ever purchased, the colour black is the worst ever but i must agree that floppies are the same as any other floppies. These floppy disks are not pre-formatted so you would need to format them yourself which is really time consuming, especially if you have a really important report due in the next day for the bank as i did. These floppies are not as good as the Imation series as all of these disks are completely BLACK. In means to quick identification these disks offer none of it. I would recommend that you go for the coloured Imation ones i wrote about a couple of days ago on here. Imagine this, you cant find that floppy disk with those important files you really need to access but you cant find the disk. What would you do?. I know what all of you budding floppy experts out there think. THIS GUY IS RIGHT. The only advantage the 3M floppy disks is that they are IBM Compatible for use with all normal Personal Computers. Altough i only paid £0.99 for a box of 20 of these floppies. If you were to go to a authorized retailer like Dabs.com or Wollies they would charge you around £2.99 for a box of 10. Overall i would not recommend these floppies to anyone who wants quick identification and non-BORING disks. I never knew i could write so much about 1 pesky floppy disk. Watch this space for more reviews on floppies. Dom :-)
