...I bought this product second hand around 3 months ago and I am very satisfied with the package as a whole. New to projectors I found the setup and operating system a little tricky but apart from that the quality is great. Have only the pub to compare it to and it blows that one away. Links to PC with good image. And now it is asking me to write more and Im new to this so I really do not know what else to say. Argh it is still asking me to write more and more and more and I really cant take this anymore. ARGH im going to go sooo mad it is still asking me to type more... cant it get in into its head that I have not more to say... The end :D... Read review

Advantages: Easy to use, good picture quality
Disadvantages: Fairly large by modern standards

...I was able to obtain this at a very advantageous price: at full RRP I probably would not have chosen it. Very easy to set up, though sometimes switching between the many options in the set-up menus can be cumbersome. Has the option of DVI input which not all projectors have, which suits my Apple Powerbook well, and I've been able to do joint presentations with both my Powerbook and someone else's PC-laptop plugged into the projector simulatneously, switching back and forth between the two computers simply using the projector's remote control. As with all DLP projectors the colours look a bit cold on screen, even after profiling with a Spyder, but it is a lot better than other (more expensive!) DLP projectors which I've seen in action.... ...The HP MP3130 digital light processing (DLP) projector differs from most others in the market as it sits vertically rather than horizontally. HP's reasoning behind this is that, if placed on a table, it will be able to rise above the coffee cups and notebooks. Weighing less than 2kg, it's also extremely portable. Buttons and sockets are clearly labelled on the unit and it comes complete with a remote control. The remote feels a little delicate, especially when extended to it's full length, but it does include a handy laser pointer.
