ChassisTouch FPD monitors offer a more compact enclosure, better optics, lower power usage, longer life and less heat generation than CRT chassis monitors. These slim profile monitors are ideal for use in a broad range of kiosk and light industrial applications. When design space is limited, the slim metal case of the ChassisTouch FPD touch monitor is ideal. Back-mounted display controls are accessible even with the monitor sitting flush with the face of the enclosure, improving the aesthetics of your integration. An optional bezel (user installable) is available for applications requiring a more finished appearance.

...I recently upgraded my office computer display to a flat screen. The choice wasn't large but the quality of the products on offer was superb.
I choice the Belinea 10 17 10 TFT flat screen, resolution 1280 x 1024 with built in speakers, because it looked professional and was the most cost effective I could find.
I have been using the display for 1 week now and cannot fault it. Although it is not until you see a traditional monitor that you appreciate the desk space being saved. Indeed my desk looks less cluttered with just as much 'work in progress' as before.
Tip – Read the instructions that come with the panel. It does not come with software, which must be downloaded from the web site but at least that ensures the most recent versions. As for setting the equipment up, I spent less than 10 minutes playing with the controls...

..., and is supported by one plastic arm which has an oblong/rectagular base, which I would estimate is about 6inches by 4 inches in size.
The flatpanel itself can be tilted upwards and downwards to suit your viewing height. The flatpanel, viewed from the side is not exactly 'very thin', I would say about 2.5 - 3 inches in thickness, but this doesn't seem particularly unreasonable, compared to other monitors that are around.
What I like, is that, conveniently, there is a handle moulded into the back of the monitor! It is at the top of the unit, and it's great as it's handy for moving the monitor, whether from one room to another at home, or just to dust properly!
There are 4 buttons, which are easily accessed, at the bottom of the front of the screen, for changing display settings. Settings which can be changed from the menu you access...
