This however is fixable by either disabling the touchpad and then connecting a usb mouse or just being more careful when you type. The disadvantages I have found with this computer is that there is no ps2 connection so if you buy a mouse or external keyboard make sure it has a usb connecter. Also, the manufactures claim up to a 2 hour battery life, this might be the case if you just turn on the computer and then dont do anything on it but if youre just using things like MSWord you can expect about an hours battery and if youre listening to mp3s or anything like that the best that can be expected is about half an hour!! Disadvantages: Fingerpad too sensitive, battery performance ...I use this laptop as a second machine on a wireless network. This review is made in quick points to ease reading! If you find it helpful, please rate it at the bottom of this page. The positive points of this laptop The look of this laptop is great, and it's very light for its size. It has wireless capability, which can be enabled/disabled via a handy slider on the front of the machine. Nice screen size, great for watching DVDs whilst away from home. Decent Athlon 64 mobile processor 3.2 Ethernet port, 2 USB ports, Firewire port and TVOut are useful, as is the onboard sound and mic. And the negative I find the battery life a little diappointing for web surfing, it can only last 1.5hrs at times. The 512mb RAM is shared with graphics on my machine which can be annoying at times, am unsure if this can be upgraded...
