...my 18 month contract with 3 back in Feb. this year (2009), I kept asking for 3's customer service to cancel my contract or to change my price plan to pay as you go. Despite my huge effort each time to speak to their customer services people, they seems never understood my wishes to cancel the contract. Advantages: The Nokia 6500 has camera, which is capable of taking photos. Disadvantages: 3 mobile give poor service, & like to tie you to long contracts

I have been paying between £15 & £40 a month, for over a year, for a phone with no signal, or service.
I am e-mailing their customer service, almost daily, without satisfaction.
When they do contact me, it is 4 days after their e-mail, saying the will phone me the same day !
If they can’t get me, they leave a message on my T.MOBILE phone ( it’s pay as u go....but ... ...or sign a contract with 3 mobile or Hutchison ! Once upon a time...long, long ago, a man went into a 3 mobile shop in Oldham. He wanted to buy a dongle for his new laptop ( one off, 10 gig, £99) ....but that’s when it all went horribly wrong. He was persuaded by the salesman, that he could have a new phone, with 300mins/texts a month & a dongle , with 5 gig a month, for a very reasonable price. Advantages: Cheap tarriff Disadvantages: Bad, bad, bad customer service, phonecalls that cut off even though there's a full signal.
...have been tempted to join 3 because of their great value-for-money packages, think long and hard about the commitment you are about to make. I would say my association with 3 has been extremely stressful.
I genuinely detest calling the customer services because I know the phone call will probably last for over half an hour, with patronizing repetitions, lies (yes, bare-faced lies) and, I'm sorry to say, immense difficulty in understanding what the ... ...I CANNOT WAIT to end that contract, the misery and stress it caused. Although, judging from what friends have told me about terminating the contract, that will be yet another protracted and stressful phonecall to look forward to...

Advantages: customer service, covearage Disadvantages: video calling minutes
i am on 3 mobile for a year now as i took out a contract last year. It is very good network and i am on 300 mix and match with unlimited 3 to 3 calls. Also you can go on windows live messenger for free and you can go on planet 3 and check out news, weather forecast, usage and also download free videos on to your phone of your horoscope, gossip news etc. I previously was on tmobile pay as you go and 10 pound credit didnt last longer than a couple ... ...to network on a recommendation of my friend and since i have had no problems. the only downside is that when you take out a fairly new phone you have to pay voice calling minutes which is really annoying as i never do videocalls with anyone and knowing that i pay £2 extra for 18 weeks means that i throw £36 in to the bin ...

Advantages: Pretty cheap for what you're getting. Disadvantages: Need to have a 3G phone before you can use the SIM, tech support can be difficult
...caught my eye was a 3 £15 deal. For the deal I got 300 any network minutes, 3000 texts and 2000 3 to 3 minutes as well as free Skype. Now I decided that I also needed the internet max package to allow me to go on Facebook and YouTube for when I had long train journeys which bumped the whole package up to £20. Not a bad deal, because if I'd gone with the PAYG option (which was seriously tempting) I'd have forked out that a month anyway. The thing ... ...HAS to be 3G as 3 don't allow 2G phones on their network and the SIM won't work) or a 3 phone. You do get a Pay As You Go SIM too, but thats not much use unless you either have another phone or someone who has a spare phone and wouldn't mind it being revived for you to call them. This is where the 2000 3 to 3 minutes come in because if you give it to someone who has an unlocked 3G phone then you can call them to your heart's content. I actually popped ...
