    Disadvantages Disadvantages Bad customer service, terrible reception, head-poundingly nauseating shop layout, the list goes on

    I don't think I have ever experienced customer service more painful than the service I had with 3. I refer especially to the mobile broadband contract I took out with them in 2008. I went into their shop to almost immediately become accosted by a member of their staff, who began by rather politely asking me what it was I was looking for. I explained to them what it was and at first they were only too happy to help, and within about 20 minutes the deal was done. My problem with them however was afterwards.     I was always a fan for shopping at high street store where you could walk in and get all your questions answered with a 'real' live person standing in front of you. From their body language, you could tell if they are coming on to you or not so it was with a lot of misgivings that recently looking to change my mobile phone provider for a better rate that I considered purchasing a new phone through the internet with 3 network..     On the plus side 3 is the cheapest tarif provider, which is probably why we all endure their terrible service! There network coverage is generally quite good too as long as you dont venture too far into the country. Service is my pet hate with these guys, although I have had the odd successful phone call, but this is a rarity. So, you can get 15 gb Internet allowance per month and iPad included for £25 on a 24 month contract, which is the best deal I could find, or get 100 texts or mins, 1gb free 3-3 calls and an iPhone for £30 a month on a 24 contract if you can: 1) understand what the ... more

    This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My mobile contract was due to expire so I went to the 3 shop to renew my contract. I always like to deal with people face to face with transactions like this. The actual purchase of my phone was straight forward the problem arose when I wanted my number carried over to a new contract. To cut a very LONG story short I ended up with three different phone accounts being set up, statements that didn't tally with the package I'd taken out.     In my own opinion the Three Mobile shop in Rugby should exert more effort to look after thier customer if they want their custom for a longer term. I think the problem is they just after your initial business and once they got you thats it they would not show that they care their customers. I have talk to few people that have the same experience as me it is a shame though because Three does provide good tariff. If they could just go an extra mile to care for their customer I think they will surely be on the top of the ladder. I really hope that something can be done about this because a ... more
