On a recommendation from friend I took out a 2 year iPhone 4gs contract with three. Before agreeing I checked the coverage for my location to ensure I would get a decent signal. It said I would get excellent indoor and outdoor coverage at my postcode. THEY LIED. On the basis of 3G coverage I took out the contract and with their phone coverage alone I have no issues but despite 5 bars and an alleged 3G signal, I cannot even load a text only mobile site let alone use the promised free twitter and skype. Indoors or outdoors. Their extremely polite but at times patronising outsourced call centre staff have been dealing with my issue for 3 months now and their conclusion is, nothing wrong with their network transmitters so tough if I can't load a webpage and now they tell me, despite 3 months of alleged network upgrades in the area, I'm based on the edge of their network zone and won't get a good signal anyway. Not quite the same message now I'm tied into a contract with them. I can either pay over £600 to get out of a contract or continue to pay monthly for a service I cannot use for next 18 months. This is a terribly misleading service conning a customer into signing a contract that three cannot perform and will not let the customer rescind
