I got a Nintendo DS for Christmas and I have not been able to put it down it is so addictive, I have managed to buy a lot of games at very reasonable prices and this is one of those games, it is so addictive I can only put it down when the battery has run out on my DS.
42 All Time Classics is a game that appeals to everyone as it has a wide variety of games that are suitable for everyone.
The various games that you can play are: Checkers Chess Poker Darts Solitaire Bowling Billiards Bridge Texas Hold Em Boxes Connect 5 Mahjong Backgammon
There are many more games available with I think every card game that I have ever heard of and more, but the above are but to name a few of them.
This is a game where players can challenge up to seven of heir friends with only one game card with the Multi-Card Play or DS Download Play, which is a great element as you can play against you friends which make the game play a lot more interesting. If you do not have anyone to play with in the room all you need to do is to log onto the Wi-Fi Connection and find players to compete against.
I would definitely recommend this game to anybody who enjoys a challenge, it is a brilliant game with 42 games on small cartridge, with such a wide variety it keeps me amused for hours, what's more this is a game that appeals to a wide variety of people from a variety of different ages.
Not only does this game have a variety of different games it also has a variety of modes from Mission Mode which sets you challenges to complete to progress, Stamp Mode in which you start playing through all the games on Easy mode, you then get stamps, once you have three stamps you move on to the next game. This then enables other games to be unlocked, but once you have completed the easy setting, you can then go through medium and hard setting which gives you a great new challenge. The final mode is Freeplay mode which allows you to play any games.
I really enjoy the stamp mode as you get to play a variety of games without having interruptions of having to search and pick you next game it just appears. My favourite games on this cartridge are Darts and Texas Hold Em.
The graphics on this game are not as dynamic as some other games that I have played, but in mu opinion you do not need it as these are basic games and adding special graphics would take away from the amount of games that you can have on the cartridge.
I think it is absolutely excellent value for money retailing at around £15 it is worth every penny as this brings gaming to another level whilst the controls are easy using the stylus as you play the games with the touch screen.
