4head is a brilliant new concept for the treatment of headaches. I myself suffer with Migraine, and when I find a product that works, I feel it only fair to share the knowledge with other sufferers.# So what is 4head? #
4head is a natural headache treatment. Unlike usual headache medicines, it is non oral, and is applied directly to the forehead. It works quickly when taken at the onset of a headache. It contains Levomenthol which creates it's cooling and tingling effect. How it actually works is by relaxing the blood vessels to the head, and dulling the pain signals intensity.
4head is a natural painkiller and is very effective. 100% Levomenthol, which relaxes muscles in the head, and numbs the pain.
#How to apply 4head# It is a twist and turn applicator, cased like a lipstick. Just
swipe it across your forehead several times, and that's it. As soon as you have done this, you will feel a tingling sensation then a cooling effect and very quickly you will feel the pain subsiding.
#The actual product# 4head is non-greasy and colourless, so it will not leave any mark or build up on the skin. The smell is of menthol, very similar to Vicks rub.
The size of this item is ideal for pocket or bag. It is very convenient and you do not need water or food as you do with conventional tablet form, so it can be used on the go. And the very big plus side for me is the fact that you will not suffer any side effects which can occur with tablet form. Things like irritability of the stomach and more serious side effects to the liver which can result from repeated and excessive use of certain pain killers. In clinical trials on this product, relief was gained after two minutes of applying 4head. So this is ideal if you are at work and suffering a tension headache, as you will be able to keep working with no time lost. It is a powerful pain reliever and very fast acting. Also it's a Godsend for anyone who has trouble swallowing pills, which I think a lot of people suffer from, especially the young.
#Dosage Unlike pills and medicines you can use 4head as required. There is no set timetable for applying this. Though it is not to be used over excessively#
#Can this be used while taking other medicines# 4head is perfectly safe to use whilst taking other medication. There have been no reported cases of adverse affects. You can also use 4head whilst taking oral analgesics. This product can also be used by diabetics. It is safe for children and the elderly.
# Not # to be taken during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding, simply because the safety has not been established yet. Safe for asthma sufferers though do use in a well ventilated area as strong smells can make an asthmatic wheezy. #Foods to avoid# It is proven that some people develop headaches after eating these foods. Cheese, shellfish, strawberries, avocados and red wine. The substances found in these items are tryptamine, tyramine, serotonin and histamine. Chinese food contains Monosodium glutamate and is believed to be a big factor in causing head aches.
It is recommended to drink two litres of water a day. And the main thing is to eat regularly so that the blood sugar balances are maintained. A sudden drop in blood sugar levels will bring a headache on.
Chemical ingredients in household cleaners are also to blame for headaches. You can buy natural products, or even make cleaners etc. yourself. Lemon juice is a very good agent for cleaning all types of things. And olive oil is very good for polishing, so there really is no real need to buy a product containing chemicals. And you will also be doing your bit for the planet.
If you feel a headache coming on, stay away from bright lights if possible. Take 4head as soon as you can. If you are at work in an office sitting at a computer, look away from the screen every five minutes or so, and keep good posture while seated. All this will help a work related headache.
So in my opinion this is an excellent product for all the reasons I have talked about. It costs around six pound, which seems a lot of money but I think for what it does, it is worth every penny. You will get approximately 100 applications from 4head so it does last quite well. And at around 6p per headache I think that's acceptable. :0)This is an innovative product and I highly recommend it.
