After my Experiences in Being a Moderator on the Frontera Owners and Wetroads Forums
it was inevitable that I'd find a Family-Based 4x4 Site so that The Whole Family could
get involved when I have my Girls out with Me in the Frontera.

The Site was Created with Families in Mind so that when a Meet/Event does happen there's
stuff for everyone from the 4x4 Owner/Driver to Kids Activities so no-one's left out.

On the Main Site Page there's a Short Explanation as To Why the Site was Created by Deborah
Newton and Her Husband Chris.

Down the Left of the Screen are Links to

The Forum:

In Here You have,

A Welcome Thread with,

An Announcement of Hello & Welcome to the Forum.
A Sticky Post for Guests/Visitors basically saying What you See is a Taster and there's
more to See as a Member.
Also There are Sticky Posts Explaning How and Where to Hosts Video Clips and Picture Files
On-Line so You can include them on The Site or Any Forum.

A Rules Thread which says that we do not allow or stand for Offensive/Rude
Posts/Topics/Pics/Videos on the Site and it also includes a Brief Cover of the Disclaimer
Notice for Events.

Then We have the "General" Thread with,
An "Introduce Yourself" Section so You can Say Hi.
A "General" Thread which can be about Anything from "How to Create a Signature Image for
On-Line Use Or Who to Ask to Make one for You" to "A Womans Corner" for the 4x4 Widows to
have a Banter.
A "Members Rides" Topic so You can Post Pics of Your Vehicle and tell us all about it and
any Modifiactions.
A "Technical" Section for the Calls for Help fixing a Part or even "How to do a Modification".
"The Right 4x4" a Brief Section on Members Experiences with 4x4s and Why they Love Their
Vehicle.
A "Tips/Tricks" Thread with Money-Saving Tips to cut the cost down of working on or with
Your vehicle.
"Sales/Wanted" Bit of a give away, any Parts needed or going this is a good spot to find what
You need. It also includes Links to E-bay for Parts.
A "Links" Section to other Forums,Sites where We feel You can Find Help/Parts easily.
A "Kids Corner" for the Youngsters of the Site with Regular Competitions.

Then We have the "Forthcoming Events/Meets" Section.
The "Event Calender" for the Planning of Meets/Socials all over the Country.
And "Charity Events" as we do have Certain Charities that mean something to us Personally
We do try to organise Meets/Events and make Donations to these Charities.

We then Have the "Event Write Ups" Section..
Photos/Videos of Events that have taken place, from Green Lane Driving in Snowdonia to
Getting Muddy at Stainby in Grantham , everything is Here from the Good to the Nasty.
It's a No-holds barred report into the Event,The vehicles and the Management of these Events.

We then have a "Miscellanious" Section ..
Action Videos of Members Vehicles on the Go from Non-4x4offroadinguk Events
And a "Members Birthdays" Thread for the Embarrasing Messages at that time of year!

Events Calender:

This is Pretty Bare as the Site/Group is still new but the Details for the Entire Years
worth of Meets/Events will be posted Here including Parties, P&P (Pay & Play Days), Socials
and Charity Events.

Club Gear:

This is where You can Purchase Official 4x4offroadinguk Merchandise, anything from a Mug
to a Baseball Cap to a MouseMat .. at the Moment it's in $(USD) as We're still finding
Suppliers within the UK.

Wanted/Sales:

This Section will Eventually cover Parts or Vehicles For Sale or Wanted for Non-Members.

Links:

This Section covers the Links to Other 4x4 Forums, Technical Help, Parts and Insurance
Companies that The Members have discovered to offer the Best in Services/Cover/Parts.

Gallery:

The Name says it all, This is a Brief Gallery of Members Vehicles in Action.

Kids Corner:

This Section is Thoroughly Vetted by the Administrators and Moderators of the Site to check
for any offensive/rude or embedded viruses so that it is Safe for the Kids.
We Spend Hours playing these games to be safe!! It's a hard job but We have to do it..hee hee
There's Games, Printable Pictures/Puzzles, Activity Sites and also details of Future
Competitions!

We are Rapidly Building this Site up so There's nearly something new happening on there every
week and the Site-Owners are adamant that It will NOT become a One Make Site with only Vauxhalls
and as a result we now have Isuzu, Vauxhall, Range Rover, Land Rover, Toyota and Diahatsu
Owner/Drivers and Their Families logging on.

I hope You like this review as much as I've enjoyed writing it, this site has a very good
future in it and I can't wait!!!!

Steve
