I brought this game as a fan of 50 cent craze and was sucker-punched into this franchise, and was left reeling with this mediocre third-person shooter. This really is one of the biggest letdowns on the PSP i have had, and this game simply lacks any substance bar the G-unit brand.

There is no character progression of any sort and hence you are left empty handed with a poor, weak game with no depth for fans.

The story is that 50 cent has to hunt down who killed his friend K-Dog and how he is getting framed for murder. This sounds involving although turn out to be let down by the rest of the game. The cutscenes feature some sharp-looking graphics and characters and this helps the atmosphere of the story.
The game had videos and music, great cutscenes and more, the game and makes use of 50 Cent and his crew, even if the gameplay and presentation isn't all that great.

This is a classic example of a brand made into a game. This game is lacking fun and enjoyment -even the hardcore 50 cent fan will be left short.
The GOOD Points:
You get the play the enigmatic 50 cent - the game takes you on the route of a gangster living on the streets.
Unlocks - there is a lot of 50 cent unlockables such as music and videos which help keep the gameplay going on. This will please fans as they have at least music to accompany the gameplay
Fighting moves are varied and you can eaisly lock onto bad guys. However graphics and 3rd person view let this down.
The BAD Points:
Third-person view - on the PSP this game does not work well at all and you are left detached from the action with a poor view and with no feeling of action or gangsta life. This does not convert well and does not make fun gaming at all.
Graphics - the visuals are dark and grainy and do not help poor level structure and 3rd person shooter view. This is very hard to determine where you are and the enemies. The enemies are poor in terms of graphics and 50 cent barely resembles the superstar himself.
Gameplay - this is repetitive and the levels are poorly constructed with 50 cent wandering around levels to achieve aims. Enemies won't shoot you if they are off-screen and camera angle is too close for you too notice enemies. It ends up being a melee than a
Multiplayer - Gamemodes include deathmatch, capture the flag, although suffer from repetitive action that the single-player game does.
Story-mode - this is short and repetitive and not much fun even for the 50 cent fan.
OVERALL: A lacking PSP title that does not create the gameplay it promises and ends up disappointing the gamer. Lack of depth, poor fighting. There are a lot more titles better than this and this one im afraid, is one to ignore.
Advantages: Play as 50 cent, g unit unlock, Disadvantages: poor graphics, repetitive gameplay, lacking depth, boring story mode
