Advantages: Quick efficient sanding.
Disadvantages: Heavy.

..., although I must admit that I have not checked a few times and was startled that the machine started immediately upon switching it on. The belt speed settings are important and you have them numbered from 1 to 5 depending upon the job that you are performing and how fast you want to belt to turn. The lower and more controllable speeds are from 1-3 and from 4-5 are the faster speeds. Changing sanding belts is easy as well. There is a lever that you pull right back to its furthest position, insert your sanding belt, and then put the lever back into place. Here, you cannot really go far wrong, but you need to look at the inside of the new belt to see which way the arrows go, and always put the belt in so that the arrows point in the same direction as the belt turns. The belt slides easily over the rollers and the lever locks it easily in place... Read review
