Advantages Advantages Informative as well as fun.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Its not all fun!

Fifth Gear was created by Channel Five when the BBC canned Top Gear in 2001, some of the presenters from the show including Tiff Needell and Vicki Butler Henderson moved over to Channel Five to form the show you know and love. Presenters: Vicki Butler Henderson: VBH started racing karts when she was 12 years old and was also an instructor at the Silverstone race circuit so she is no stranger to speed, her knowledge of cars and making them go fast is put to good use in the feature she presents: the fifth gear Shootout. Vicki is also one of the lead presenters who hosts the show from the Fifth ... more

Advantages Advantages Keeps me informed about the car

Disadvantages Disadvantages I keep getting a fuzzy picture!

Having spent 15 years of praising, influencing and sometimes putting one down so far, it’d never be the seen the same way again, Top Gear went off the air for good in 2002, ending one of the longest and most prosperous relationships in the history of the BBC2 For most of those years, the program sat proudly in the top 10 viewing ratings for a very long time, but as time passed those figures, like everything in time was beginning to drop and BBC, rather than carry a dead donkey, took it off the TV listings. This was so they could think of a revamp for the show – in other words it ... more

For most of those years, the program sat proudly in the top 10 viewing ratings for a very long time, but as time passed those figures, like everything in time was beginning to drop and BBC, rather than carry a dead donkey, took it off the TV listings. This was so they could think of a revamp for the show – in other words it was gone and it was never coming back. In a similar introduction sequence, I was greeted with a set-up, not too dissimilar from it’s predecessor – quick fire introduction sequence, with fast cars mainly, the ‘what’s coming up on the show today’ part and the even the same ... more

Advantages Advantages It has good facts

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Bad competitions

This is a good Television program but it isn't as good as Top Gear. As you may have noticed the presenters are from the old Top Gear. They are good presenters but the program isn't up to standards. I also hate the competitions. They hardly ever give away a good car. The best car in Briton wasn't an Aton Martin DB9 or A Rolls Royce Phantom but instead a Mini. I accept it's a good car but the only reason why it was the best is because it was the only they could give away! A good program but not for car infusiasts. Instead I recommend it to new car buyers and people who just want to find out ... more
