Advantages: GREAT GAMES...TOUCH SCREEN...SMALL SIZE Disadvantages: NONE
I brought the Nintendods lite over a year ago now, I brought the lite instead of the original simply because it looked better and weighed better. Usually the ds is aimed mainly at children, but as I am no child I find that it caters for my gaming needs very well. This review will highlight the highs and lows (of which there aren't many) of the Nintendods, and why I would recommend it to potential buyers either for themselves, or their children.
The Nintendods lite is entertainment galore. It boasts numerous features that have enabled it to compete with Sony's psp. Firstly the size of the ds gives it a huge advantage, as you can carry it around with you practically anywhere, all you need is a carry case which is readily available in stores or on eBay (where I got mine from). You can literally put the ds in your hand, however ...
Advantages: Lots of games and easy to use Disadvantages: Has been replaced by newer one now
The NintendoDS Lite is the newer version of the hand held NintendoDS games console.
There is now an even newer one called a DSi but my review is on the older DS Lite.
I love my DS as it is so easy to use. It can play such a wise range of games that people of all ages will find something they like to be able to play on this. There are things like barbie and animal games for small girls and shooting adventure games aimed at younger boys. But then there are some clever puzzle and brain training games that people of all ages will enjoy.
The actual console is really easy to hold, it is a great shape and closes to keep the 2 screens safe from damage. It comes in lots of different colours now.
To use the console there is a simple on / off switch and the bottom screen is a touch screen, which you use the stylus to use and this ...

feature in this console.
However if you purchase a NintendoDS make sure that you colaborate the system from time to time to insure that it does not go off sync.
There is a great range of games available for the NintendoDS for all ages.
The graphics on this console are quite outdated and cartoony compared to other portable consoles on the market for example the PSP, I personally dont mind this as it brings back old memorys and gives the console an old school element to gaming that I find really fun.
Overall I think this is a great console and recommend it to anyone who enjoys Nintendo platform games, this is a very user friendly system and portable fun for all the family.
