This driving school is a complete shambles and waste of money.
I chose them for my wife because they were a household name. Everything started ok, lessons booked, attended the first four lessons. After that, it was completely downhill. On three occasions, he cancelled the appointment. Apparently, the car had broken down and he called 10 minutes after the scheduled lesson time. After i spoke to the customer service guy, he said that the instructor's car did not break down and that we were lying! Also, we would still be deducted for that lesson!
We tried calling the instructor directly to sort this out but he would not answer his phone.
I demanded a complete refund of all monies due to us. Three months on, I am still waiting for my cheque. They keep fobbing me with stories about needing to speak to their accounts department.
I can only say this. We have decided to pay as you go with a smaller establishment. Its more expensive but we know where we stand and have much more choice. These big companies are just out there to make a load of money out of you.
as brittle said as my brother sister and her husband all learn to drive with them and had no trouble from them all the time they was with them.

I think in all fairness you had a duff instructor and branch! Rotten experience for you both. I struggled to pass my driving test (although I'd driven off road for years) it took 5 attempts. The AA driving school were great, I switched to them after failure no 4. They also taught my son and daughter to drive with no problems or hassles....
