Its been a week since I passed through AA Driving school. To summarise total experiences,
Age: 25+ Driving experience before starting with AA: Less than 100miles driving Total hours spent: 45 (together with test attempt hours) Total practical test attempts: 4
I had a very good instructor for the first 35 lessons and had a good time. I had to change the driving instructor due to relocation and the second instructor is total nutcase. He is very arrogant and never heard a word of appreciation from his talk. Also very pessimistic. "You would never pass with this driving" is his way of conversation to start. This happened even on the test day which I passed.
In my opinion, people should not fall for their "fully qualified driving instructors" selling point. Quality of the driving instructor doesn't come with qualification. Even a local driving instructor can be a great one without any 'qualification' tag. At the end of the day, all these instructors are independent and are looking to get more money out of your pocket. My second instructor wrote off all the tips and reference points given by initial instructor.
