This is a letter I have sent to the Insurance Chumps today, if you read it (I warn you it is extremely long!!) then you will know why. Hi all, AA insurance is an insurance intermediary. Fine, they'll find you as cheap a quote as any other, though you could and should use a range of them to compare. As an intermediary, AA insurance did not have to disclose its terms and agreements that they have, with their panel of insurers, to customers like you and me. AA Insurance on the internet has just done it again for me. Having saved several hundred pounds by using the AA rather than just renewing my buildings insurance with Lloyds TSB they have just saved me a further £300 on my home contents cover. Like many people, when we bought our first house, we needed buildings insurance in a hurry to get the mortgage, so we went with the cheapest quote we had at the time. Like many, when my House and Contents Insurance was due for renewal, I did a bit of shopping around before going with AA Insurance on the grounds of cost.It was even better when I found out that because I had my motor insurance through them they would give me a further discount on my buildings insurance. Great, everything efficiently done and in pretty quick time.
