Advantages: Good Features, Price, And Overall Speed
Disadvantages: Delicate, But Aren't All Motherboards.

...I have had mine for over a year now and it still remains a top quality motherboard. Even at the speed that computers are evolving this remains a solid choice for anyone who wants a good value AMD Athlon board. It comes with a N-force-2 Ultra chipset, Loads of ports including builtin 5.1 surround sound that I use and I can say for built in sound it is amazing. Is orange colour goes nicely with my orange accrilic case. The only time i had any trouble with this was when it was going slow suddenly but then I realized it was because too much dust was in the northbridge fan, I soon cleaned it out and now its fine! : The moral of the story - NF7-S's Are Brilliant as long as there dust free! If your thinking about getting one of these babys i can decide for you....Yes! cos' they wont let you down and run tremendously.... Read review

Advantages: Good quality board, great features, easy to set up
Disadvantages: None that I can think of

...I have been using Abit boards for five years now and have always found them to be high quality and easy to set up. Manuals are clear and comprehensive, which is a bonus when confronted with ever more complicated BIOS's. The NF7 is based around the nForce 2 chipset, which is extremely stable. The version 2.0 board I have is the basic one without onboard video, though I prefer to install my own video card anyway, so this suits me. It does, however have excellent onboard 5.1 sound, including optical out, though if you have an old non-USB joystick, you will have nowhere to plug it in! You can, of course, get round this by installing your old soundcard and disabling onboard sound, but this seems a bit yestertech! The board will support all the latest Socket A processors and can take up to 3Gb of RAM, so you will have no shortage... Read review
