Manufacturer's product description
Bundled with select AA8-DuraMAX, AG8, and AV8 motherboards, Guru Clock acts as an external display, allowing the user to monitor critical system information quickly and easily. With conventional hardware monitoring software, users would traditionally have to exit full screen applications to access system temperatures, voltages, and fan speeds. With its large, easy-to-read LCD display, Guru Clock makes this information available at a glance. Now, users no longer have to interrupt what they are doing to monitor their systems. What's more, Guru Clock allows users to cycle through the overclocking presets set up in OC Guru at a touch of a button. With Guru Clock, gamers can speed up their systems mid-game and really turn up the heat on the competition. One of the most annoying things is being kicked back to the desktop whenever a new e-mail or MSN message is received while using a full screen application. Now, with its convenient E-mail and MSN Notification function, users can be notified when a new message is received via the Guru Clock's LCD display. For users whose systems are positioned on the floor, Guru Clock with its convenient system power on/off button is a real back saver, allowing users to power on and off from the comfort of their desk top.
Advantages: Dedicated monitoring chip, north bridge fan cooler, mounting holes Disadvantages: power plug location can be improved...
...Well After Asus flop with their A7N8X-E model that failed me 5 times I thought I needed a better board...
Ok the design is crap but the quality is usurpassed...
Personally ABIT must have been on a diferent planet when they designed the layout of the MOBO but it does all come together nicely and it WORKS....
The featurs are available for anyone to read about on ABIT's website so please dont insult me on the lack on mentioning of features and whatnot...
I am here to tell you it WORKS, ITS alive.... IT is better than great, its reliable and the way the bios supports diferent modes with overclocking is truly the best thing since sliced bread
ABIT should have called it Frankenstein (purely for Abits choice of layout not finished quality) but I guess design classes come second only to quality...
It is absolutly reliable and the Monster...

Advantages: Reliable board with a well thought out design Disadvantages: LED diagnostics not normally seen
...notice is the double digit LED display in the bottom corner of the board as it rapidly changes numbers. Very pretty. Of course its main purpose is to record POST initialisation sequences, especially handy for fault diagnosis and overclocking monitoring. The manual has 3 pages of the possible code numbers you may encounter. Aside from this the screen takes you through the usual boot-up procedure. However when you initiate the BIOS pages you will find that there are quite a few additions to the normal pages and adjustments. There are 7 setup menus on one side of the BIOS window, while the other half contains a PC Health Status menu, along with fail-safe and optimized default settings. In addition to the comprehensive features offered by the BIOS, ABit have also included a new microprocessor on this board called the uGuru which allows you...

Advantages: Great quality, uGuru software - The best! Good speeds. Nice mb lights. Disadvantages: Doesn't work 100% with uguru clock. Works but doesn't save menus.
...The Abit IP35 Pro is a nice well built motherboard. It might not look really 100% amazing but that's because Abit put there quality into the parts themselves.
Coming from a previous owner of a new Gigabyte board at the same price of this I can tell you the Gigabyte is just not worth looking at compared to this. Glad I got it exchanged for this!
Abit's Uguru software is amazing it just makes you want to stick with Abit for the rest of your life, well it's made me! It has everything you could ever want for overclocking or just making sure your investment will be safe from voltages/fans failing/heat/clock speed. You can change everything and with great ease, even within Windows it's self!...

Very good board, stable and feature rich, a good alternative to those who have a habit of buying Abit or Gigabyte boards. Great for overclocking be it a dual core or quad core CPU.
