Unfortunately, the last ten months or so, since their being purchased by WorldCom, have seen a marked decline in service quality.
I still rank them as cheapest for weekend local calls, but don’t expect to be billed on time or accurately for any calls you have made. They do route non geographic, unlike many of their counterparts, but really they must get their act together and get things organised again.
Advantages: bill takes ages to come through Disadvantages: bills are inaccurate, but only pay if they are correct
you won't get billed for weeks.They are very diorganised in getting money from their creditors. If they ask you for more than you owe, refuse until they send you a correct invoice. The service is ok for UK, but do not use for International calls. A friend clocked up £72 on one call to Pakistan. Their minimum charge is hefty if you make lots of short calls. They have been overtaken by World Exchange Teklecom so this should mean improvements. I.E for ...

In my university accommodation, ACC is the only telephone company we can use in my room. If we want to get an incoming call service, we have to pay £40 a year. Of course, we have to pay for any call we make and the call charges is not cheap at all.
Within one year time, World exchange has taken over ACC and then Netnet has taken over World exchange so it can be imagined how the billing system goes. The service provided is very bad. You will never ... ...there is a discount for paying by direct debit and for convience, we will choose this payment method. Therefore, we always pay before we receive the bill so we never know if it is correct or not. Even there is some mistake, it is hard to get through to the ACC. Normally, I have to spend like 20 to 30 mins to wait.
Also there are charges for calling freephone numbers except their customer service number. It is not fair. Therefore, I need to go for ...

Advantages: Non Disadvantages: Everything about the damn company
...had to sign up to ACC at univeristy. I have dealt with phone companies such as BT and Vodafone and in comparison this one should not be touched with a barge pole. I signed up, and after realising the service was too expensive, I decided to cancel the account with them. This was after recieveng bills up to half a year late! (How one can organise a student budget with this company, I will never know.)
After cancelling the contract which I just about ... ...picked up the phone later on and the line was still live! I rang them again and asked them to cancel it, and they said they were sorry and would do it. A week later and the line was still not cancelled. I rang once again and had a go at them. This time they managed to do it. I confirmed over the phone that I had no outstanding charges left to pay. They said that they were actually in debt to me fo a sum of 49p. Not bothered with that, I thought that ...

...sometime earlier this year. ACC had inefficient billing, ie u get your bill after you are supposed to have paid it, ie u lose your rebate, the call cahrges are exorbitant and you end up paying through your nose
In my college ousing we HAD to use ACC or end up with no land line, thus, all of us were forced to use this horrible service... however, if u have the choice DONT use this as the standard rate of 3.15 p per min is way too high
Also, if you ... ...dont bother... you'll never get through.. i never did... Take my advice, dont use this .... wait... u cant!! since its no longer ACC, well, if u want to hedge your bets with World xchange go ahead... but if i were u and i had any other choice.. i would give this telco a miss ...

The service provided by ACC is absolutely appaling. They offer a student service at my university and in the 9 weeks i have been here they have not responded to a single complaint. The company claim to offer a voicemail service but in fact the company have not yet reset the voicemail system so anyone wanting to leave a message gets the previous occupant and i have no way of accessing the message. The service does not allow the use of freephone numbers ...

I live in a rural area of North Wales and bought my Vodafone pay as you talk in order to keep in the car for emergency use. My journey to work takes 45 minutes and involves travelling mainly over mountainous regions where there are no phone boxes and few houses. Advice from others suggested that coverage was good in this area. However, I found this to be far from the truth.
Out of my 45 minute journey, I can access the network for a total of 15 minutes. This is made up of 5 minutes from my home, a couple of minutes in between and the rest just before reaching work. The most barren areas have no coverage whatsoever. Some days, I have even less access to the network.
I have also found that coverage at my workplace, in Harlech, North Wales is very patchy and some days I cannot acces the network at all. I

I think anyone who is using indirect telephony providers to route their calls, will already have twigged that no single provider will get you the cheapest calls over all of the routes you dial.
At the time of writing Eurobell's prices are 2.94p standard, 1.14p evening and 0.85p weekend regardless of the distance of a UK call, subject to a minimum call charge of 4.7p.
These rates are certainly competitive, but perhaps not the best, e.g. AXS 2p daytime and ACC 0.76p weekend. Some rates are in fact very poor, e.g. USA in the day at 17.71p c.f. Onetel 4p.
However, I have had excellent customer service and correct prompt billing throughout. (Which alone puts many competitors to shame.) Call quality is good and connection trouble free.
So, think about your call spend and routes, and maybe Eurobell will be for you too. ...

Advantages: You get unlimited free text messages and either 50 mins of off-peak call free per day, or 100 mins a month anytime Disadvantages: I don't think there are any
unlimited WAP acces.
