Advantages: Good quality Disadvantages: Abit old now as only on Pc100 Ram
...The Gigabyte motherboard is super quality, i've had no problems when trying to install new components. Initial setup was comprehensively documented and was clear enough to allow anyone to instal it into their computer. The four Dimm slots are a bonus and come in useful for upgrading with smaller dimms when you can't afford to do an all out purchase of larger ones. All connections are well fitting and jumpers are easily accesible and clearly marked.
I would recomend this motherboard if you are trying to set up a mid range Pc, but i definately recommend the Gigabyte range for any computer....

Advantages: HaLoads of storage space Disadvantages: Annoying blue light
...I have had my PC for two years now and just recently I managed to fill my 80 GB hard drive up with rubbish. There was so much rubbish on it the hard drive was having problems reading the data. It was so full that I didn't even have enough free space to do a defragmentation of the drive. Anyhow with my birthday looming just around the corner my girlfriend said that I could have a new hard drive as an early present. I only wanted a 100GB hard drive but after I had had a browse around I discovered that I could get the Iomega 250 GB external hard drive for the same price.
The hard drive itself is silver and has a clear blue strip across the front. The Iomega logo is clearly embossed on the top and underneath there is four rubber feet. There is also two vents one each side to draw in cool air.

USB 2.0 Transfer Rate: 400...

...this drive compeet with faster drives (WD raptor 10krpm) but for around £50-60 knock 2 of them in Raid-0 and you will most likely have a very large, very fast drive setup for £40-50 less than a faster drive!
I would suggest if you're in the market for a large, reliable, quitet drive you realy do need to look at Western Digital's 250GBSE16 Drive as this drive ranks at the top of the hard drive food chain, and is industry standard coming from WD who are renowned for their quality and the life span of their products.
Western digital SE (special edition) is another way of stating that this drive has 16mb of cache instead of the usual 8mb (overall faster performance for sustained use, ie network storage)
The drive spins at 7.200RPM (rotations per minute) which is usualy classed as the norm for higher end hard drives, where as a slower drive...
