Manufacturer's product description
Designed for the Scalar 100 Library, the ADIC Scalar 100 FCR-1 Module Fiber Channel-to-SCSI Storage Router provides connectivity between a Fiber Channel Switched Fabric (FC-SW) or Fiber Channel Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL), and three Fast/Wide/Ultra-2 SCSI buses. The Scalar 100 FCR-1 Module is a storage router that translates the Fiber Channel Protocol (FCP) to and from three SCSI buses so devices on these two types of media can communicate with each other. It attaches to either a Fiber Channel or SCSI host, and transfers the command, data, and status information to SCSI or Fiber Channel targets. Packets are transferred transparently by the Scalar 100 FCR-1 Module from host to targets and vice versa. The Scalar 100 FCR-1 Module provides interconnection between for three SCSI buses and a Fiber Channel Arbitrated Loop or Switched Fabric. It takes advantage of Fiber Channel's ability to encapsulate SCSI protocol packets to allow a host with a FC or SCSI adapter to access SCSI or FC peripheral devices transparently over a FC connection.
Advantages: Looks, Innovation, Ease Of Use Disadvantages: Price
...to router and switch on. The setup wizard can be accessed wirelessly using the internet based installer, or for more security you can connect your computer to the router via ethernat and set it up that way, that is it.
Within 10 minutes I had my network up and running on 2 Laptops, 1 PS3, 1 iPhone and 1 Wii.
One problem I used to have with my Linksys router was that whenever I played online on the PS3 the computer's internet would cut off for about 5 mins, and vice versa. This has not happened once since I bought the N1 Vision as all the items listed above can connect at once with no problems at all.
The router also has some really nice features too, it has guest mode for extra security, several different visual indicators and has great range.
Guest Mode:
Guest mode basically lets you setup a second network on the same router...

Advantages: great signal, cheap, does the job, easy to use, great security, easy to set up Disadvantages: no real user manual, some functions maybe hard to understand with previous experience.
...not be a problem with others (problem could be due to the fact that english isnt my first language)
security on this handy router is great, it has WPA2 which is very hard to break into compared to your original WEP connections which are relatively easy to crack compared to WPA (from research) so WPA2 sits on a whole different level.
For added security this little router also has mac address filtering, so only specific computers can connect to it.
The wireless signal on this device is great, although do not expect any miracles if you buy a fast router but dont have the wireless card to support it (in other words, no point in buying a router with wireless speeds of 54Mbps if your wireless card is 11Mbps), I would like to point out that the building i reside in is 3 floors with brick walls, My laptops and computer (2 laptops, 1pc) get perfect...

Advantages: Extended range, capable of streaming HD video (mostly) Disadvantages: Susceptible to interference, needs matching adapters
...What it does:- connects your ADSL connection to an internal network using either cables or wireless. The MIMO and N1 designations show that its at the bleeding edge of wireless standards so its one of the first wireless routers that is (theoretically) capable of streaming High Definition Video to wireless devices. But beware - your mileage WILL vary.
Easy to set up and use - the quick start guide got me working in ten minutes and ready to go. But the main manual is on the CD so you have to trawl a bit to get deeper information (should you need it).
What it looks like:- an ok design but tries a bit too hard - who really cares if an anonymous box they rarely see is 'pretty' and to be fair its tricky to make something the size of a fat paperback with three big aerials sticking out look attractive at all.
The diagnostic lights...

This is by far the best router i have owned and used ( compared to an ordinary wired router and a belkin and also a netgear wireless router).
