Manufacturer's product description
Designed for the Scalar 100 Library, the ADIC Scalar 100 FCR-1 Module Fiber Channel-to-SCSI Storage Router provides connectivity between a Fiber Channel Switched Fabric (FC-SW) or Fiber Channel Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL), and three Fast/Wide/Ultra-2 SCSI buses. The Scalar 100 FCR-1 Module is a storage router that translates the Fiber Channel Protocol (FCP) to and from three SCSI buses so devices on these two types of media can communicate with each other. It attaches to either a Fiber Channel or SCSI host, and transfers the command, data, and status information to SCSI or Fiber Channel targets. Packets are transferred transparently by the Scalar 100 FCR-1 Module from host to targets and vice versa. The Scalar 100 FCR-1 Module provides interconnection between for three SCSI buses and a Fiber Channel Arbitrated Loop or Switched Fabric. It takes advantage of Fiber Channel's ability to encapsulate SCSI protocol packets to allow a host with a FC or SCSI adapter to access SCSI or FC peripheral devices transparently over a FC connection.

Advantages: Quick and Easy installation Disadvantages: Low wireless range
..., alot quicker and less complicated than most. If you get stuck during the software installation the manual that accompanies the router gives you in depth detail as to how to continue with the installation.
In terms of speed, the Zoom X6 is a 54MBps router, thus meaning it is capable of sending 54MB's of information every second, realisticly speaking you would be able to run 1-6 computers (performaing regular tasks, i.e. Browsing the internet *not movie downloading*) off this router without experiencing much loss in internet connection speed.
The only disadvantage of this particular router is the range, the range in doors is about 30 meteres, and about 100 meteres outdoors.
I would very much recommend this router to anyone who is looking for an ADSL wireless router as it is so siple to setup and easy to use.
In addition a key...

Advantages: Comes free with sky broadband, Dyndns Disadvantages: Can get quite warm
...Very good router. I got this router with my sky broadband. It is re branded to say sky on the front where netgear would be.
The excellent thing about this router, is it's ability to hold on to low noise margin connections. Where I live, we get a terrible noise margin on our lines. Usually this would lead to the cutting out of internet. But with this router, it managed to keep locked on without dropping until it got to about 5db noise margin.
The web interface is easily accessible through a web browser, like all of the other netgear routers around, via 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. In my particular case, as this is a sky branded router, the login details were admin as the username and sky as the password. Once you get into the web interface, there is no difference to the normal netgear one. Configuring the services and firewall rules...
