Manufacturer's product description
FCR series Fibre Channel routers offer a proven, bi-directional interface that allows SCSI devices to be seamlessly integrated into Fiber Channel Storage Area Networks (SANs) for Gigabit link speed and flexible sharing of storage resources. DIC routers support a wide range of devices, including disk drives, RAID arrays, tape drives, automated tape libraries, and optical jukeboxes, as well as servers with legacy SCSI adapters. The ADIC FCR series meets all applicable ANSI and industry FC standards, and it maintains existing compatibility between hosts, targets, and software to simplify SAN integration. Extremely high data transfer rate provides substantial bandwidth to ensure high device availability. FCR series support distances up to 10km making it easy to centralize storage resources. Full point-to-point FC-AL and switch compliance allows use with any FC topology and SNMP support provides remote device monitoring.

...to change the admin password of the router!!!
So within half an hour all my setup was done. i had configured the wireless network with WEP security( to prevent unauthorised access)
I was able to access internet wirelessly on both my laptops easily...
But after a few weeks i started facing frequent connection dropouts.
.. I went through the product support page to find some help.. i tried everything mentioned but still it didnt help much.
Later while browsing on some site i found that the default channel 11 which is being used may be used by other wireless users and that might be causing interference with your device. and BINGO!!! after changing the channel to 6 the problem was solved.
So in case you are facing a similar problem try changing the channel. speak to your neighbour who has a wireless network and try and use a different channel...

Really not for a big house! Review ofBelkin ADSL2+ Modem with High-Speed Mode Wireless-G Router - wireless routerby
kooldavy
Advantages: Easy setup of settings Disadvantages: Range is very poor
...going down to Good just middle strength.
- Went further about 20 feet with about 4 walls between it.... basically no connection at all.
I had previously bought a router for someone else and tested it in the same house. It was a netgear router and at the same distance with 4 walls between it I could still get Very Good strength.
I tried however to change settings like the channel number, place the router in a different position, didn't help at all. When I used a Belkin adapter along with it with only 2 walls it was no connection, so what does this tell you about Belkin wireless products?
From my experience and opinion this router isn't worth the money, you be safer buying another make like Netgear or Cisco for ADSL.
Price I paided for this was around £40, if you really want one you can get them cheap on ebay cause people are looking rid...

Advantages: Excellent range, eliminates wireless dead spots Disadvantages: Occasionally has problems 'locking' on to a signal
...security options. You have the choice of WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) encryption and WPA-PSK (Wi-Fi Protected Access, Pre-Shared Key) security.
One thing I should mention is that Super G (108 Mbps) only works in wireless channel 6 - why they don't point that out in the documentation I don't know - I had to look search through their troubleshooting section on their website to find why I was only reaching speeds of 54 Mbps. But there it is, set the channel to 6 and everything should work fine.
Once set up, the blue dome on top of the router starts to flash like a miniature disco - apparently to let you know that its internal antennae are working away trying to find you the best signal. Although this is mildly entertaining for the first 2 minutes, it soon starts to wear thin. However, never fear, the LED lightshow may be turned off...
