...Ahhhhhh… yet another obscure IT related op. ;-) Rather than just give you a run-down on the tape itself I thought I'd give you a quick insight into the exciting world of data backup. This will be a quick 'n' dirty guide to backups. It's by no means a comprehensive overview. I've been doing this stuff for over six years and I'm still learning bits here and there! LTO tapes are the latest in a long line of removable data backup devices, thus meaning that they are A) Faster than their older rivals, and B) more expensive (Naturally). LTO Stands for Linear Tape-Open. And no; I've got no idea what it means either. Bit of an obscure one even for the IT industry there. ...connections onboard so you can not connect any of your IDE Drives to it. I would say that this is a very cheap computer but the specs are good enough to run vista and perfect for home users,wouldnt reccomend getting Vista on this but its your choice. You will also have to pay extra off dell if yiuo are wanting wireless on this system. The Processor Laughs at Converting AVI Files of 700 mb with Win AVI it completes it in under 15minites(My ATHLON 4200 x2 Does this in 20 Mins) and it has nostrain while you are doing this there is a lot of process power in this. I think that the Motherboard Dell has put in to this computer is to cheap and would be a lto better with a higher end model.Apart from this i would reccomend... Read review

..., there is also the traditional Parallel socket too as well as USB connectivity. Installation? Quick and painless. The Printer comes with an instalaltion CD that allows a quick instal lto both the network and a standalone PC thanks to the easy to follow wizards. Paper Capacity? It comes with a built in Paper Drawer capable of handling 250 sheets. You can also buy additional drawers that clip on to the bottom of the printer to handle different paper requirements such as headed paper,etc. These can hold up to 500 sheets and cost up to £250 extra. There is also the "flap down" front which comes with an envelope feeder and paper holder. Printing Properties? Fantastic. It reckons it can churn out up to 24 Pages a minute but I would say its nearer 10 in the real world. That is if you want anywhere near a decent quality print level. It is capable... Read review
