Advantages: Easy to find connections Disadvantages: fidly if you have lots of them
...As I made known before, I want to review stuff that I have and I have become obsessed - this seems to be a weird product to review but it's listed - so what could one say about these cables?
Firstly - what are they?
These cables connect the drives in your PC to one another and if something doesn't function or you get a "drive not connected" message - then one of these have come loose.
Therefore, before spending money on getting your pc fixed, look inside and check the connections between the drives and the boards.
Note though: do not disconnect them and put them back the wrong way up as the drive or board isn't guarenteed to function (although sometimes it does).

A driver acts like a translator between a device (e.g. a Printer) and the programs that use the device (e.g. printing software). Most drivers come with the operating system (e.g. Windows XP) but for other devices, such as the network cable, you may need to load new drivers in order to use the device.
*Price and Availability*
The Belkin FastCAT5e Network cable is readily available from most good PC Accessory outlets, however if you search through some of the well-known Internet outlets you will be able to find this product cheaper.
