The Scalar 100 /DLT is the perfect backup system for networks that are outgrowing stand-alone tape drives and 10-to 15-slot libraries. At only 14 rack units, the Scalar 100 is one of the industry 's most compact DLT libraries, even at its minimum configuration of one drive and 30 cartridges. Its scalability, however, puts it in a class by itself. Users can easily increase its performance and maximize capacity the field by adding drives and cartridge slots, scaling up to 6 drives and 60 cartridges without increasing the size of the library. The Scalar 100's connectivity options also support network growth. Simple plug-in modules allow it to operate as a SCSI library, a FiberReady SAN library or a network attached archive. Managing the Scalar 100 is easy with its intuitive operator interface and integrated web management.

...with a plastic storage case, a card allowing information regarding the backup set to be recorded by hand and also two sets of stickers so that the tape can be labelled.
~~~ Use ~~~
Using the DGD120P cartridge is as simple as using a video; you just put it in the slot provided by your tape backup drive and it is ready to be written to or read from. All of the backup/restore functions are taken care of by the backup software installed on your computer. The cartridge will hold 4Gb (gigabytes) of data straight out, but with compression (performed by backup software) this capacity can be doubled to 8Gb.
~~~ Observations ~~~
Although tape used to be the preserve of enterprise-size companies, the cost of a second-hand drive from eBay now means that anyone can have one relatively cheaply. However, one of the biggest problems with tape is the sheer lack...

Advantages: Excellent Quality Disadvantages: Time it takes to print
...this printer the Lexmark Z22 is cheap and cheerful, the quailty is excellent, the storage space isn't alot., the colour quality is great,
-------First Glance----------------------
my first glance was un-sure if this printer was up to the standard i was looking for, i thought it would be a printer, which would blur out some of the images, but it didnt and i was like 'yes great stuff lets get printing'
--------Is it quality?------------------------
it is quality, prints out are excellent, but they do take some time to print out depending on the choice of colours, and how many different colours are used at once, the cartridges last along time,ive used at least 2 packs if a4 paper in at least 3 days and its still going, and although you may be thinking, isnt that due to the cartridge? well yes i know that is true, but i believe...
