...memory will reduce the available for RAM. For better performance I would choose 256MB ATI® Mobility™ Radeon® X1400 HyperMemory™. As the Screen is 15.4" 1280x800 or 1440x900, there are about 1 200 000 pixels on your screen. For that amout of pixels ( I think not so many), the ATI® Radeon® X1400 will rock.
I would rather sacrify 1gb of ram and take this Graphic card than go for 2Gb of ram but having an Intel onboard one.
Gaming experience will not able to be maximised, however, you will save lots of money.
Hard Drive : 80gb at 5400 rpm, 100gb at 7200 rpm or 120 gb at 5400 rpm. If I was about to buy this laptop, I would choose to have the 12gb one raher thn the 100gb one. Speed will be reduced, however, you get up to 20 gb more of memory and save £35.25 ( worth for money)

Advantages: Backup of data is Crucial - Cheap Entry Level Disadvantages: Low in GB size
...This Tape Backup is Very easy to Use & Install - In my opinion it's the easy one on the Market !
Hewlett Packard is simple a name to trus, there have been so many other tapedrives come and go but the main problem I always find is that fitting an older tapedrive will not does not always work under the latest windows operating system.
This Tapedrive works under Windows 98, Windows ME , Windows 2000 And of Course Windows XP.
I have tried many other tapedrives in the past and the main thing I find to be a pain in **** is speed of data transfer and getting it to work under other operating systems. IN THE PAST I have had to have dual operating systems to get around this....

Advantages: One touch backups, transfereable from computer to computer, more reliable than tapes Disadvantages: bulky, installing on non-Windows XP computers, takes a long time to backup
...Upon hearing the familar metal-on-metal grinding noise from inside the computer's cases, meaning one thing, you're hard drive is going to die very soon.
Luckly, the good people at Maxtor have given us the 'Once touch external hard disk'.
The device itself is a self contained 300 GB 7200 RPM Maxtor Hard drive with a USB 2.0 ( 480 Mbs) or Firewire (400 Mbs) interface although the maxium data transfer speeds are 41 MB/s for the Firewire version and 34 MB/s for USB.
Personally I think that 300 GB is a bit excessive for home computer purposes, and I would recommend the smaller 200GB version availible.
For office, work , and corperate use it is ideal. I now recommend the use of this device as a direct replacement for tapedrives, when it comes to backing up servers.
The 'One touch backup feature' makes backing up important data so much...
