...I have recently purchased a G710. I have been very impressed with the monitor so far - the clarity of the image is excellent and perfect for use with my tv card. I know other people who have ADI monitors, one has the older 17" model that ADI do, and another has the G910 - the 19 inch version of my monitor. None of them have had any problems with their monitors. What makes it even better is that I managed to get my monitor for £100!!! As is has a small scratch the display screen. If you are looking to buy a new monitor I would definitely suggest that you take a look at the current models that ADI have....

Advantages: Multimedia, new technologies Disadvantages: Unusual menu, big moire, geometric distortions, not so good looks
...The 17-inch screen monitor ADIMicroScan G710 has an absolute flat screen and is intended for the professionals. Bright, the saturated colors in a combination to an absolute flat screen reproduce an image enough precisely and realistically. It uses an electron-beam tube FD Trinitron. The maximum size of an image at MicroScan G710 makes 406,4 mm on a diagonal.
The screen monitor MicroScan G710 has horizontal frequency 30-96 kHz and vertical - 50-160 Hz. The maximum resolution - 1600х1200 with frequency of 75 Hz. Even for such resolution the display ensures a unflickering image. In ADIMicroScan G710 is used tube with an aperture lattice and pitch between orifices 0,24 mm.
Set-up of parameters of an image, as well as in majority of modern screen monitors, is carried out with the help of screen menu, in which apart from of standard...

Advantages: Excellent picture quality Disadvantages: Very Expensive
...Today, colorful graphical user interfaces rule the PC world. When you try to manage multiple windows on a small 14" monitor, you quickly realize that there has got to be a better way. Many PC's are now being shipped with 17" monitors, but for some people, that is still not good enough. I opted for ADIMicroScan. It's bigger than a 17" monitor, but not to clunky like a 21" monitor and has a 18" viewable screen. The MicroScan 6P is certainly not for someone who does only word processing. This monitor is ideally suited for multimedia programs, advanced graphics design, and desktop publishing, although i find it being used for games most of the time.
The MicroScan 6P was a breeze to set up, it's fully plug and play compliant. Windows 98 had no trouble at all detecting it on my machine. Just incase you do have problems though, ADI...
