He did the work quickly and cleanly and made a small change to the installation plan to ensure best protection. Disadvantages: Poor customer service, binding 3-yr contract, extra dial-out charges for non-BT.

The customer service for the ADT system is absolutely appalling, and they really have little clue on the physical workings and limitations of the system. Be aware that when you sign onto the system, it is usually for 3 years, and there is a termination fee if you try to cancel beforehand, even if it is a fault of the system and you are unhappy with it. They often don't make this clear to you when they are trying to sell the system to you. I was not ...
