My main selection criteria was, it had to be electric, 2 ovens, good branding, 5 year warranty, look good and be delivered for Christmas. It ticked all the boxes and I went ahead with the purchase.

A qualified electrician (my neighbour) was able to install this in about 45 mins, a simple case of moving out the old cooker and disconnecting, then reconnecting to the new one - this involved removing the back panel and reconnecting a few wires. The cooker then pushed straight back into place., and looked great - stainless stell with a black hob.

Disaster - 2 weeks before Chrismas my cooker blew up and with all the family coming to visit I had to buy and get one installed really quick. I popped into John Lewis (never knowingly undersold) and instantly fell for this cooker.
My main selection criteria was, it had to be electric, 2 ovens, good branding, 5 year warranty, look good and be delivered for Christmas. It ticked all the boxes and I went ahead with the purchase.
The goods arrived - very well packaged, complete with installation manual and user guide.
The user guide was really useful, I have never used a touch sensitive cooker before and it is really easy to program using the simple yet very responsive options for both the hob and oven.
The multifunction ultrafan main oven has got 10 cooking functions (select up or dwon arrow for either the top or bottom oven) including conventional, fan on or off, pizza, fast heat and defrost. If you press the selection twice you also have a "quick heat up" ability, which is really handy as you don't have to wait very long at all before it buzzes and tells you that you are at the right temperature.
There's also a 'heat and hold' function where the oven automatically lowers to 80ºC after the cooking end time.
The top oven has a variable grill with ultra fast and intelligent options, where heat is automatically adjusted for open or closed door grilling. It can also be used in a similar way to the main oven which was brilliant when I was cooking the Christmas Dinner.
Other features for the ovens are that they include, programmable timers fro ovens and hob and catalytic stay-clean liners, making cleaning very easy. I also liked the light in the main oven so you can really see what's cooking (and hopefuly not burning!). There is also a light for the top oven.
Both of the ovens have triple glazed doors which means that the doors remain cool when cooking, very important with kids or young children around.
The hob
The easy clean ceramic hob (I use Hob Bright available from Homebase) again features the easy-to-use touch controls, 4 rings including rapid power zones, automatic simmer control, child lock and a stop-go feature - this is really handy.
In summary,
This was an absolute marvel over Christmas, I found the cooker exceeded my expectations (Indeed I don't think that I have ever cooked a better pizza - using the pizza function control of course!) It is a bit pricey at nearly £900 and the only negative thing was the touch controls can be a bit too sensitive, if for example you put a plate on the controls, but I would thoroughly recommend this.
