On complaining to customer services by telephone when the machine was running and droning on ... ...the Silent System only applied to the spin cycle, which is the only time the machine is as quiet as any of our older (and much cheaper) washing machines. It does wash very well.
A good machine but needs to be in a separate well sound insulated room.

On complaining to customer services by telephone when the machine was running and droning on through its wash and rinse cycles the comment was that the Silent System only applied to the spin cycle, which is the only time the machine is as quiet as any of our older (and much cheaper) washing machines. It does wash very well.
