AEG 37320 a brilliant machine! 4 of 4 Ciao Users found the following review helpful

Advantages Huge Capacity, Sensor Drying, Reverse Action

Disadvantages Dont know how long the drying cycle has left!

I used the AEG 37320 full sized vented tumble dryer during a recent holiday to visit my aunty in Southampton. On the whole it is very well built (German), dries well, works quickly and quietly, I have to say it is the best tumble dryer I have ever used!

Overall Appearance
=================
the overall look of the tumble dryer is plain and simple, it has one dial and a few buttons and is easy on the eye.

The control panel
-------------------------
On the control panel there is one dial which has all of the programmes on it:

COTTONS High Heat
Extra Dry-- Heavyweight or multi layered fabrics
Intensive Dry
Storage Dry
Damp
Hand Iron
Machine Iron

EASY CARES Medium Heat
Extra Dry
Storage Dry
Damp

TIMED
20 mins
40 mins

OTHER
Refresh
Wool Care
Easy Iron.

There are three buttons on the dryer too:
Special Care (This lowers temp an all progs to Low Heat)

Audible Signal (This makes the dryer beep at the end of the cycle, it continues beeping occasionally after the cycle has finished so you don't forget about it.

Start Pause: Pretty Self Explanatory

Rather than having a mechanical timer like most dryers, you simply select how dry you want the load and press start rather than guessing how long you should put the load on for. The machine stops when the drying level has been reached so no over drying takes place and electric is not wasted.

The majority of the laundry I did whilst I was there was heavyweight items such as towels, and bathrobes, I also did a few loads of sheets.

All of these loads went on the Cottons Intensive Dry programme with no fuss whatsoever, they just tumbled away quietly.
The bed linen was almost crease free and required very little ironing and the towels came out soft, and very fluffy.

After the cycle is finished if the door is not opened the drum turns every few minutes to help prevent creasing setting in this is handy if you can't unload right away!

The Filter on this machine is located in the door, look closely at the picture and see the bulky looking object? That's it, the front bit flaps down so the filter can be lifted out and cleaned within seconds, this design is very good as it allows you to vacuum out all excess fluff from the compartment, this is usually a very awkward job to do on tumble dryer's as the filter space is usually very narrow!!

The door on this machine is also reversable so is very workable wherever you choose to locate it.

I was very impressed with the overall performance of this tumble dryer, it dries quickly and quietly. However the only thing I don't really like is you have no idea how long it has left to the end of cycle. Not a major problem really, just worth mentioning!

Hope I've not missed anything here, if I have just tell me!

Thanks for reading!
Take Care
When I go Green i will update with pics!!

Good review but is there a filter which needs to be cleaned out and how easy is it to access? I do like the sound of how the machine works. Just cant get passed the fact that AEG are owned by Electrolux with half of me thinking that a similar model by Lux would be cheaper.
